In the midst of the crisis - previous update

All of us at The Croft would like to thank you for your patience and your support through what is a challenging and constantly evolving situation. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well, and we look forward to seeing you again.
As I write this, the situation regarding emergencies remains much the same - we are at the other end of the phone on our usual number if you need us. Please don't hesitate to call, we can provide tailored advice and have access to the best treatment that is currently available. If you have any less urgent queries or requests you can also contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via the Facebook page. If you prefer to chat, just call anyway.
Behind the scenes we are working to provide the equipment and update our systems in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff when we return to work. As yet there is no concrete information on when that will be. My best guess, having listened to the rumblings in the profession, is that we will be back before the end of June. It is, however, only a guess. We have ordered two air purifiers and will be purchasing new equipment to smooth the flow of patients and treatments as much as possible. I am afraid that we will look a bit more 'medical' in our new outfits but I can assure you we are the same friendly team you are used to, and we are anxious to return to work and to look after your teeth and mouths. I am personally sad that the days of seeing patients chatting to old friends in the waiting room are over for the moment and will only return when the threat of the virus has receded. It has always made me smile when my practice has felt part of the community in this way. Of course, things will eventually change, and the 'new normal' will return to something more like the 'old normal'. In the meantime everything will take us longer; be assured we will be working hard to catch up with the lost time as quickly as we can.
